In my first post since migrating back across the pond to Oxford, England I’m happy to report that I took delivery of my UK compliant Instant Pot and slow cooker this week. It has become an even more attractive cooking method because our temporary kitchen is compact and bijou.
I just stepped out of the kitchen to write this weeks post. It’s raining, and home with just my 8 year old we baked fresh scones for a neighbor in need and a soup for the week. So much of this experience reminds me of the James Beard quote “Food is our common ground, a universal experience.”
In the midst of a crazy busy week running between a Conscious Capitalism networking event; an export workshop at The Hatchery, expanding our social initiative to Beacon Place and beyond (more on that in a future post) and, an early morning round table and demonstration for staff and teachers at New Trier high school, we found time to squeeze in a new recipe and as well as our Amazon launch!
